What happens when you give so much power to someone so stupid?

Krynsharverse: Chaos Toon.

Little Mist is the most powerful Red Mist Creature ever created by Krynshar in the entire multiverse... and also the stupidest.

Concept creation

Before talking about the concept creation of Little Mist, it is necessary to talk about the Krynsharverse for which it was created: Chaos Toon.

With the idea of making flattening, inflating, and other similarly themed arts, the need arose to create a new Krynsharverse. This theme reminds me of the cartoons I watched as a child, where, for example, an anvil falls on a character's head, flattening him.

Creating a toon-themed Krynsharverse seemed like a great way to differentiate it from the other existing Krynsharverses. Because it is a toon theme, it is more appropriate for the stories to be funny (that is, of the comedy genre).

Krynshar is a character with a very established personality throughout the other Krynsharverses, and his personality type limits the kind of humor I could use in Chaos Toon stories. For example, toon humor goes far beyond the kind of ironic humor that Krynshar uses in other Krynsharverses. Subsequently, there was a need for a character that could be stupid, opening doors for different types of humor. Because of that, the idea of creating a new character for this new Krynsharverse arose, a character that would share the spotlight of protagonism with Krynshar.
In the other Krynsharverses, Krynshar often uses his Red Mist to create creatures that help him achieve his goals, so it makes perfect sense that the character who would share the spotlight with Krynshar would be one of those creatures. But it must be a special creature, so that Krynshar would still be necessary for the story.
Then a new idea came to my mind: those classic cartoons where the villain sends his subordinates to carry out his evil plans seemed like a perfect fit for Chaos Toon.

Character Creation

Having established all these concepts, the name of the character came to my mind easily and quickly: Little Mist. After all, it's a character made of Red Mist, and he’s toon-like and funny.
So, I started thinking about the character's personality... and since he's not just any character (he's going to share the spotlight with Krynshar, after all), people have to like him for some reason. Everything seemed to be moving towards the creation of a character that is charismatic for the audience.
Little Mist carries the perversity of everyone who will be reading the story (everyone wants the victim of the chapter to be transformed and degraded), but he is also naive and stupid, which in addition to opening doors for humor, also makes it difficult for him to carry out the orders given to him. Little Mist wants Krynshar's approval, wants to be praised, and wants to please.

Little Mist's appearance needs to be different from the creatures of the other Krynsharverses while retaining some important similarities: a body made of uneven Red Mist, the absence of a nose, and the presence of horns and glowing red eyes. Thinking about it, I was reminded of those movies where toons interact with real people, breaking down walls of reality. Inspired by this, I decided that Little Mist would look like a toon, and creating it using 3D with an exaggerated texture seemed like a great way to achieve that.

Little Mist is evil. Searching for references from evil toons, it became clear that the shape of the eyes was important, and Little Mist also needed to convey that he is a perverted character from his expression. To that end, his smile combined with the shape of the eye made the perfect combination. Little Mist’s big head, small body, and short arms and legs helped to bring out the character's naivety.
